Qualifications & Competencies
Recruitment for one of our clients:
A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred; or equivalent combination of experience and formal education.
Previous employment in the post of ‘Technico Commercial’ will be a definite advantage.
A clear focus on sales and business growth is necessary. Business to consumer experience is preferred.
Proven ability to develop sales turnover and attract new clients. Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
Problem-solving and analytical skills to increase sales performance and develop market trend information.
Local knowledge of the market and main target group is crucial for success.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, both French & English.
Excellent social and negotiation skills with an acute ability to develop professional/personal networking.
Is a good team player with strong interpersonal relationship building.
Energetic and Professional grooming that reflects the Company’s image.
A valid driver’s license.
Roles and Responsibilities
Principally responsible for promoting, securing, developing and maintaining the company’s services to existing and potential clients on the local, regional, and international market by ensuring a profitable return to the freight forwarding company. Undertakes all duties normally falling under the responsibility of a sales and marketing representative.
Experience
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of service in the Freight Forwarding sector or relevant training in the Logistics sector.
