Qualifications & Competencies

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, we're looking for the following skills and experience:

a sound knowledge and understanding of the European Corporate Communications market
proven B2B Business Development experience within an agency environment (ideally)
new client acquisition experience from first contact through to creative pitch
the ability to think strategically with a strong commercial understanding
strong organisational and project management experience
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
knowledge of agency dynamics and creative process (an advantage)
ideally some Digital Marketing knowledge
holder of a driving license (an advantage)

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role you will work closely with the Business Development Manager, help to generate new business leads across all service offerings. You will play a key role in the acquisition of new clients, from initial contact through to supporting chemistry meetings and RFI/RFP submissions.

This role therefore involves:

providing knowledge/intelligence on key market developments and competitor activities
maintaining client and prospect database
Lead generation, set up and support
developing new business via networking and building relationships with target clients
contribute to tracking opportunities for upselling and cross-selling into existing accounts
help managing incoming briefs/tenders, and support the agency's preparation of submissions and pitch presentations
sales administration / client portfolio / delivery of data and analysis / billing follow up
developing and updating of marketing support materials
support track key business KPIs
participate in the development of new research products
mastering and managing the delivery of specific proprietary products
