Credit Analyst in International Banking

Qualifications & Competencies

Minimum HSC.
Degree in Banking/Finance/Accounting or any relevant field

Computer literate with sound knowledge of word, excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
Sound knowledge of credit appraisal techniques particularly for global business clients.
Sound knowledge of Central Bank’s guidelines and other relevant local legislations.
Good knowledge of financial markets.
Ability to quickly pick up risk of money laundering.
Good knowledge of KYC principles.
Good knowledge of trade finance.

Excellent analytical skills.
Quality oriented, have an eye for details and show strong bias for continuous improvement.
Excellent team spirit.
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Proactive, dynamic and solution provider.
Good interpersonal and communication (oral/written) skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

Prepare credit file with support of Relationship Manager and facilitate approval process. It would involve analyzing credit proposals by looking at client business financial risk profile, repayment capability, security adequacy and industry position.
Apply Bank One credit policies and procedures.
Conduct research on country/business groups as and when required.
Liaise with Credit Risk team and Credit Administration for smooth credit processing, documentation, disbursement and post disbursement monitoring.
General monitoring and housekeeping to be done in a timely manner through coordination with Credit Administration team.

Experience

Minimum 3 years banking experience in Credit /financial analysis.
