Qualifications & Competencies

Minimum HSC
Degree in Banking/Finance/Accounting or any relevant field.

Computer literate with sound knowledge of word, excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
Sound knowledge of credit appraisal techniques particularly for global business clients.
Ability to quickly pick up risk of money laundering.
Good knowledge of KYC principles.
Good knowledge of trade finance.
Good knowledge of various types of companies and trusts.

Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent knowledge of financial markets and financial planning concepts.
Strong marketing and business development skills.
Excellent team spirit.
Ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
Proactive, dynamic and solution provider.
Good leadership skills and ability to guide and develop team members.

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible to acquire and build relationship with new customers and maintain relationship with existing one in order to increase the assets and liabilities book of the international banking department.
Responsible to cross-sell products to maximize business from each connection.
Responsible for liaising with all support units to ensure that all clients’ requests are attended within agreed deadline.
Prepare credit file and facilitate disbursement of approved facilities within timeframe.
Ensure all control measures relative to approved facilities are adhered to.
Ensure compliance with KYC policies and operating procedures.
Operate as a team player ensuring the achievement of the department’s goals.

Experience

Minimum 4 years experience in the banking or financial sector.
