Quality Control Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Control Manager to join our team. The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and control within our manufacturing/production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to implement and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance:

Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
Investigate and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
Monitor production processes to ensure product consistency and adherence to specifications.
Team Leadership:

Lead and supervise a team of quality control inspectors and technicians.
Provide training and development opportunities to ensure staff competence and performance improvement.
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate documentation and records related to quality control activities.
Prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders.
Implement metrics and KPIs to track quality performance and effectiveness.
Supplier and Customer Relations:

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality of incoming materials and components.
Manage customer feedback and complaints related to product quality.
Work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and procurement teams to address quality-related issues.
Regulatory Compliance:

Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality control.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Quality Control Manager or similar role in a manufacturing/production environment.
Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
