Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Administrator to join our team. The HR Administrator will be responsible for various administrative tasks within the human resources department, supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth functioning of HR processes. This role is critical in maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with HR projects, and providing administrative support to the HR team and employees.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure accuracy of all data.
Process employee documentation related to hiring, onboarding, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Assist with payroll processing by verifying timesheets, calculating overtime, and ensuring compliance with wage and hour regulations.
Coordinate and schedule interviews, meetings, and appointments for the HR team.
Prepare and distribute HR-related documents such as offer letters, contracts, policies, and procedures.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
Assist with employee engagement initiatives, events, and activities.
Support HR projects such as performance management, employee training, and development programs.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information and documents.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are a plus.
Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, or similar role.
Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support others.
Knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
