Training and Development Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Training and Development Specialist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs and initiatives across our organization. The Training and Development Specialist will collaborate closely with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs, develop learning materials, and ensure effective knowledge transfer to employees.

Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive training programs and learning materials based on organizational needs and objectives.
Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skills gaps and training requirements.
Design and implement engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars both in-person and virtually.
Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date.
Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
Monitor and track employee progress and development following training initiatives.
Provide coaching and support to employees to reinforce learning outcomes and enhance performance.
Maintain training records and documentation in compliance with organizational standards.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in training and development.
Recommend enhancements to existing training programs and initiatives to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Training and Development Specialist or similar role.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to facilitate learning across different levels of the organization.
Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
