Job Purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead our culinary and hospitality team. The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, staff training, and customer service. The ideal candidate should have a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in food and beverage management.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and develop menus in collaboration with the culinary team, ensuring quality and variety.
Oversee food and beverage purchasing, inventory control, and cost management to achieve financial targets.
Monitor and analyze sales and financial performance, identifying opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in all food and beverage areas.
Train, supervise, and motivate staff, including hiring and scheduling, to provide excellent customer service.
Foster a positive working environment and promote teamwork among food and beverage teams.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote special events, packages, and promotions.
Handle customer feedback and complaints promptly and professionally, aiming for swift resolution and customer satisfaction.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and quality products.
Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and best practices to continuously improve food and beverage offerings.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, costing, and inventory management.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hospitality management software.
