Qualifications & Competencies
- A high school diploma or GED certificate.
- At least some postsecondary training, such as an associate degree in IT, computer science, or a related field.
- A strong foundation in computer science and technology.
- The ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining computer and software systems for companies.
- Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
- Performing tests on new hardware or software.
- Installing new equipment.
- Creating CRM tickets and logging its resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar IT role.
- Strong understanding of networking, data cabinets, access points, WiFi, CCTV, video walls, access control systems, sound systems, building management systems etc.
- Ability to read and interpret as built drawings presented by a service provider and/ or contractor.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
