Qualifications & Competencies
- Understanding of marketing best practices.

- Familiarity with market research practices and tools.
- Familiarity with the latest marketing tools and software.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or similar. A master's degree in a relevant field will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Planning, developing, and directing multiple avenues of marketing strategies to increase sales.
- Overseeing social media accounts and websites to engage existing customers and establish positive public relations.
- Implementing search engine optimization (SEO) for online media.
- Researching trends and new marketing opportunities, and brainstorming ideas.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, advertising or another related field.
- A strong portfolio of past marketing campaigns, including but not limited to paid ads and search, market research and SEO writing.
- Some employers prefer candidates who also have a graduate degree in marketing or an MBA for in-depth business understanding.
- Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in marketing or a related discipline is a requirement for marketing managers.
- Graduate or postgraduate education in marketing can deepen your knowledge of the field and may contribute to further success as a marketing manager.
