Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in social media management, marketing, or a related field.
- 3 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate, or agency setting.
- Proven portfolio of work in Social Media Marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the company's presence on various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content in line with our brand and marketing strategy.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer comments, messages, and concerns on social media.
- Utilize social media analytics tools to track and improve content performance, identify trends, and optimize our social media strategy.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with other marketing efforts.
- Conduct competitive analysis to monitor industry trends and inform our social media strategy.
- Promote our social media platforms with unique marketing.
Requirements
- Minimum HSC.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva or photoshop etc.
- Knowledge and previous experience in the Tourism Industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Experience in creating visually appealing social media content.
- Experience using social media analytics tools to track and enhance performance.
