Qualifications & Competencies
- SC or equivalent.
- NC3 Pastry from Hotel School.
- Valid Food Handler Certificate.
- A clean certificate of character.
- Ready to work odd hours / Sunday / Public Holiday.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily Pastry Kitchen operations.
- Do the proper mise en place, ensure workstation is clean at all times.
- Adhere to hygiene procedures in Kitchen
Prepare desserts, cakes and other items as per guidance from Pastry Chef.
Requirements
- Associate degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of prior cooking experience.
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
