Qualifications & Competencies
- 1 or 2 years of relevant experience would be an advantage.
- Degree holder in the Finance and Accounting field will be an advantange.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Self-motivated with good communication skills with colleagues and external intermediaries.
- Organised, accurate, prepared to take ownership of tasks and understanding when to ask for advice or support.
- Following tasks through to completion, and able to manage own time.
- MS Office skills.
- Able to work under pressure and to time frames.
- Methodical, thorough and attentive to detail.
Responsibilities
- In maintaining all financial records of the business, including bookkeeping and reconciliations.
- Ensure all invoices are sent to clients on a timely manner.
- Follow up on payment from clients within the due dates.
- Preparation of purchase order and requesting for quotes to our suppliers and follow up of suppliers' invoices.
- Prepare and review all supplier's recon before proceeding with payment.
- Ensure proper costing of jobs maintained and liaise with all stakeholders involved and reconcile all discrepancies.
- In the completion and submission of the Value Added Tax return, Tax Deductible at Source Return, and any other relevant returns to the Revenue Authority.
- In responding to the auditor's queries during the financial audit.
- In all other relevant tasks in the Finance Team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Outstanding analytical and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
