Responsibilities Needed

Issuing prepared prescriptions. Collection of prescription charges/checking patient exemption statements. Processing prescription requests. Operation of efficient stock control appropriate to the needs of the dispensary with the objective of ensuring continuity of supply for patients and minimising wastage.

Qualifications & Competencies

Dispensing prescription medication and pharmaceutical products to patients. Preparing prescriptions by counting pills, labelling bottles and compounding medications. Ensuring compliance by monitoring the prescription-filing process. Carrying out administrative duties and keeping detailed records.
