Roles and Responsibilities

•Observes all areas of the Unit and immediately report all procedural infractions and criminal activity to the Surveillance Manager, Manager of the Gaming House and Management;
•Fully conversant with the total operation of the CCTV system and job knowledge of the operations;
•Maintains cleanliness of the control room and equipment;
•Diligently monitors all Company assets as well as monitoring all employees for procedural violations e.g. check all details, usual and unusual, scan the crowd as suspicious people will have unnatural behaviour – people will be going something they should not or will be looking where the cameras are placed;
•Checks the body language at tables or throughout the hall;
•Carefully attention to cheat movements e.g. Dealers’ faces, hands, talking attitude to players, hindering Inspectors’ view, Inspectors and other Staff hindering the cameras’ view, players bending on gaming tables to place bets on lay-out far away from them and may steal other players’ placed bets, distractive fights, steal chips from distracted punters or Dealers, showing punters the coming cards or dice before playing, pinching losing bets or adding money or chips on winning numbers/areas etc.
•Monitors people’s behaviour, information received and all activities of the Gaming House and all threats;
•Ensures good orientation of cameras according to lighting which is very important;
•Handles phone calls for requests, understand disputes and complaints;
•Prepares reports on findings in an accurate & understandable manner;
•Adheres to confidentiality policy of the Company;
•Performs close watch duties as assigned e.g. Bar, Cash-desks, Staffroom, Count room, Store room, Offices, Entrance and Parking area;
•Responsible for generating reports on the following matters:
-Any deviation or issues of non-compliance from the Company’s policies and procedures;
-Any unusual or suspicious activity in or on the perimeter of the property;
-Any unauthorised access to sensitive areas of the property;
-Any violation of gaming integrity including cheating at play and suspicious financial transactions;
-Any issues which may affect the Company’s public image.
