Qualifications & Competencies
Proven experiences in electrical, plumbering, painting and carpentering.
Clean morality certificate is a must.
Willingness to work on Public holidays, Sundays etc.
Willingness to work from 09:00 am – 16:00 pm, 16 pm – 23:00 pm.
Roles and Responsibilities
Respond to all guest’s requests in a timely and efficient manner and report to the Head of Department accordingly.
Responsible for repairs such as plumbing, kitchen, mechanical, laundry, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and window repairs.
Providing maintenance repairs to guestrooms, public areas and administrative offices.
Complete work order requests in a timely manner and also perform painting work in the hotel.
Inspect public areas daily for any issues and report directly to the Head of Department for any maintenance problems.
Take appropriate action in the event of an emergency and provide the necessary liaison with the Emergency Services and/or replace an employee in the event of an accident.
To operate as an independent mechanic by analyzing problems, identifying courses of action, and implementing solutions with available resources and to a high degree of quality.
