Qualifications & Competencies

• Requires an educational level as at SC/HSC

• A basic Butler Training

- Minimum SC

- NTC 3 or NTC 2 would be a definite advantage

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Before Arrival:

• Coordinate with Head Villa Host regarding guest history if any.

• Ensure that particulars or special request is followed up.

• Ensure that Villa is set up with guest preferences and amenities half an hour prior to guest arrival time.

• Ensure that the arrival setup per guest category as per villas standards.

2. Upon Arrival

• Welcome guest upon arrival.

• Check in guest directly into the villa as per standard welcoming procedure

• Depending upon guest’s choice, the villa host attend to guest luggage and belongings as per guest preferences in unpacking

3. During Stay

• Coordinate guest day to day activities with other departments

• Coordinate with F&B outlet regarding breakfast, lunch, dinner and BBQ

• Follow up with guest request

• Note down all habits and hobbies of the guest for guest history

4. Before Departure

• Coordinate & organize transfer from Villa to reception with Concierge.

• Collect from Front Office a copy of the bill for the guest.

• Ensure departure letter and gift to be place in the villa on the eve during turndown

5. Departure:

• Packing up of luggage upon guest request

• Accompanying the guest until lower reception

• The Villa Host to meet guests to bid goodbye while inviting the Guests to return in the future.

Experience

- A minimum of 1 year experience as butler

- Minimum of 2 Years of Service in luxury Hotels would be a definite advantage
