Qualifications & Competencies

-At least Higher School Certificate or equivalent.

Tertiary Educational Advanced Certificate at Diploma Level from a recognized institution majoring in Hospitality Management.

-National Certificates 4 or 5 in Restaurant and Room Service.

-Passionate about service

-High levels of Integrity.

-Dynamic, flexible and professional
attitude.

-Outstanding customer service skills.

-Creative and innovative.

-Excellent problem-solving skills.

-Ability to lead and motivate a team efficiently.

-Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.

- A third language will be a definite advantage.

-Food Handlers’ Medical Certificate.

-Willingness to work during odd hours, Weekends and Public Holidays.

Roles and Responsibilities

To assist the Restaurant Manager in planning, organising, implementing and co-ordinating the smooth and efficient operation of the Restaurant on a daily basis.

Experience

- 2-4 years working experience in Hotel or Institutional Catering Business

-2-4 years of experience as Assistant Restaurant Manager from a 4 or 5 stars hotel
