Qualifications & Competencies
- Hotel School Certificate Minimum NTC 3 or equivalent.
- Minimum Cambridge School Certificate or equivalent.
- Dynamic and self-motivated.

Roles and Responsibilities
-Deliver an inspirational experience for the guests from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.
-Serve food courses and beverages to guests according to Sofitel established procedures and standards.
-Set tables according to type of event and service standards in restaurants, meeting/conference rooms and bars, or any other designated areas.
-Answer efficiently and effectively to guests questions on menu selections.
-Attend to guests complaints satisfactorily and ensure follow-up actions.
-Describe and recommend wines to guests and bring wine selections to tables by observing the appropriate process and standards.
-Communicate with the kitchen team regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability.
-Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen team.
-Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
-Pick-up trays and clean tables as needed to ensure a clean dining area.
-Maintain cleanliness of work and guest areas by clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to proper area.
-Abide to Health and Safety procedures and regulations at all times.
-Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
-Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
-Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
-Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
-Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards at all times.
Experience
