Qualifications & Competencies
Candidate should be a degree holder in Accounting or any recognized qualification in accounting
Candidate should have a minimum ACCA Level 2
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Systematic and organised
- Ability to work in a group and be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Should be able to analyse data /facts and derive conclusion
- Should be professional and accountable for own work
- Have good analytical and numerical skills
- Fully computer literate
Roles and Responsibilities
1 To prepare monthly management accounts
2 Reconcile Bank statements
3 Prepare and process cheques, invoices, receipts, cash payments, purchase orders etc
4 Ensure a proper data entry on system
5 Prepare and provide details and reports as requested by accounting team
6 Follow up debtors for non-payment or delay in payment
7 Maintain journals and ledgers records detailing financial transactions
